Urgent Request!!!

Have you ever wondered what Band Camp is like?  Here is your chance to find out without even having to learn an instrument!  The band is looking for chaperones this summer.  Camp is July 23 (2:00pm) to July 28 (noon) at the Colombiere Conference Center in Clarkston, MI.  It is not your "traditional" idea of a camp, all chaperones stay in private rooms with linens provided while students stay 2 in a room. 

Duties include:

Relaxing by the pool.......while the band is in rehearsal

Reading that book that you haven't had the time for.......while the band is in rehearsal

Taking a mid-afternoon nap in air conditioning.......while the band is in rehearsal

Grabbing a latte at the nearby Starbucks (only 1.5 miles away).......while the band is in rehearsal

Oh yeah, and making sure kids don't get dehydrated, hungry, lost, or confused.

While there is no monetary compensation you will receive lodging, 3 meals a day, and a great chance to build some new relationships with students.

We still need 2 female chaperones and 2 male chaperones. 

We also need a camp nurse.  If you have an LPN, RN, or EMT certification or know of anyone who does and may be interested in helping us out please forward my name and number to them.  The nurse is a paid position on staff.
