Commencement Performance-Final Exam
Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 08:50AM The final exam for trimester 3 is performance at Commencement on Sunday, June 10. The students grade will be based on:
*Preparation for musical entrances (First downbeat will be 3:25)
*Best musical effort
*Equipment responsibilities
*Sign-out in the band room after the performance
The schedule is:
1:00 Students report in band polo and khakis (shorts or pants) to small gym/stadium for set-up.
1:15 Rehearsal
~2:30 Break for lunch/snack (on your own)
3:25 Students seated on field ready to perform
4:00 Ceremony
~6:30 Students finish
The rehearsal will only last as long as needed, efficient, effective, attentive rehearsal=longer break.
Students may wear sunglasses during the performance. They may bring hats and wear them during the ceremony but not while the band is playing. Don't forget to bring sunscreen and water for the day. NO food is allowed on the field for the band, I will know you have food because seagulls will attack you.
