Tonight

It's always tough to make a decision like this.  Some people are more comfortable grieving alone, or with just close family while others are pulled together and look for comfort amongst many people.  In being respectful to everyone I feel it is most appropriate tonight to have volunteers only (this will not be a graded performance).  Senior Parent Night will be rescheduled for October 12.  All the band siblings and friends that were scheduled to perform during halftime tonight will be invited for the October 5th game instead of tonight. 

For pre-game the band will play the Alma Mater in concert arcs and then cadence to a tunnel.  Stephanie Wenglikowski will sing the Star Spangled Banner.

The band will not be performing at halftime, we have planned something special in honor of Mr. Karoly. The band will sit in our usual place and perform during the game.

For those students who would like to be a part of this evening please arrive at the band room at 6:00.  There will be no uniform for tonight.

Please know that there are counselors available at CHS all day if anyone would like to come and speak with someone.
