Cookie Walk

I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving.  It took us a day or two to recover from all the food we ate.  Too many pies!  This year has just flown by too fast.  I can not believe it is December already!  Which brings me to the task at hand.
The BCC Winter Band Concert/Cookie Walk is scheduled for Wednesday, December 10.  Snow day make up is Thursday, December 11.  The concert will start at 7pm.  Prior to the concert, the Cookie Walk starts at 5pm and will run until the concert ends.  This is where we will need help.
For those of you who are new to BCC Bands, the Cookie Walk has been a great annual fundraiser where we sell a wide variety of cookies baked and donated by our awesome volunteer band bakers...that's you.  ;)  The type of cookie is totally up to you.  Other small cookie sized like treats are welcome as well.
We are asking for 5-6 dozen cookies per baker.  They can be dropped off starting at 4:00pm in the hallway near the auditorium where concessions are usually sold.  Arrangements can be made to drop them off earlier in the band room.  You do not need to package the cookies individually or by the dozen.  Our customers will pick and chose the variety they want to be packed into bakery boxes to take home.  The prices will be $5/dozen or $1 for two.  If you could bring them in a disposable container, that would be greatly appreciated.  Otherwise in your own container with your name on it, so we can return it to you.

If baking is not your thing, or even if it is, we will also be needing several parents to help setup and sell the cookies.   Please respond to me by email at garfodiejodi@yahoo.com or call me at: H-(989)894-6671 or C-(989)415-7666, if you are able to help us by baking or working the event.  A message can be left at either phone number.

This is a great and easy way to get a jumpstart on some of that holiday cookie baking and to support the band at the same time!  So tell all your family and friends to come out, enjoy the music, and get some treats as well.
Thank you so, so much for your time and effort!  I look forward to hearing from you!
Sincerely,
Jodi Welter
